“Paperclips” documents family history, exploring personal connections to grief and memory. Utilizing stop motion and physical material, this film highlights the motif of the filmmaker’s family’s intimate connection to the paperclip. The visuals are composed of archival footage, documenting a family vacation. The accompanying audio is from an interview depicting the origination and continued presence of paperclip symbolism within the family.
