The found footage film was inspired by an excerpt from Donald Barthelme’s short story "The King of Jazz." In themes with other works, this film utilizes the implementation of physical material. Playing off the idea of sound, a record is overlayed with green screen footage depicting lines from the original writing. The piece was also sound-designed with additional effects, hoping to draw the viewer into the world of the piece even more. The exact passage from the written piece is displayed at the end alongside the credits.
